Established in 1954 from an idea by Gi\u00f2 Ponti <\/strong>, the Compasso D’Oro ADI <\/strong> is famous for its ability to capture the deepest essence of a product, identifying its uniqueness and intrinsic potential. The award highlights those innovations that have made a technical, aesthetic and value contribution to the panorama of Italian design. MrX <\/strong> is an innovative, sophisticated and functional furnishing accessory, capable of shading the outdoor space without taking up space and offering a unique en plein air experience. Looking at the object when closed, its function is not immediately evident; like an enigma, it is revealed little by little thanks to its compass opening, which allows the extension of the awning for a large and pleasant shade. I smile when I think back to the process with which MrX <\/strong> was born – says Marco Acerbis <\/strong> -. Ultimately, it all started from a mistake on my part. I was designing a tent with an From there, a succession of intuitions led to the definitive object that won the Compasso d’Oro. The challenge was to ‘push the boundaries’ into unknown territory. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The idea behind MrX <\/strong> <\/h3>\n

The objective was simple: to create an object that was two-dimensional when closed and three-dimensional when open, creating an easily usable highly protective underlying space. MrX <\/strong> is a tent which, when opened, measures 4m x 4m, offering ample space for outdoor furniture. Its opening and closing are simple and immediate, allowing the user to interact directly with the product. This interaction creates a sense of surprise and satisfaction, transforming an everyday gesture into a meaningful experience. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The firstor modular shading <\/strong> <\/h3>\n

From a compositional point of view, MrX <\/strong> is extremely interesting for its modularity. Both open and closed, it can be repeated to create outdoor environments that can be lived in even when closed. When MrX <\/strong> is closed, the awning disappears, protected from the elements, and an easily usable space is created around it. MrX <\/strong> represents an innovative concept of outdoor tent, where existing technologies are used to their full potential. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n
