Based in Otranto, COSSU+TONI<\/strong> architetti is the practice founded by Ada Toni and Cristiano Cossu, both of whom hold PhDs in Architectural and Urban Design. A significant part of their work focuses on religious buildings, liturgical adaptation and the relationship between architecture, symbolism and sacred space.<\/p>\n

Among their projects is the new Regina Pacis parish centre in Velletri, the winning proposal in an invited competition. The suspended circular worship hall was conceived both as a crown and as a bridge, drawing on symbolic references connected to the Byzantine liturgical tradition.<\/p>\n
