The Permanent Design Observatory has selected two products Vimar , Eikon Exé with round control and the Roxie external video door entry panel, for publication in the ADI Design Index 2024. This important selection marks a fundamental step for Vimar, allowing the chosen products to compete for the ADI Compasso d’Oro 2026 and the “Premio dei Premi” for Innovation, sponsored by the Presidency of the Republic.
Eikon Exé with round control
The Eikon Exé series stands out for the curvilinear design of the Tondo control, an aesthetic innovation that conveys elegance and modernity. With a backlit base that can be customized using various LED colours, this product offers a refined Total Look in its six finishes: Matt White, Anthracite Grey, Brushed Nickel, Brushed Dark Bronze, Polished Gold and Satin Gold. Ideal for home automation systems such as By-me Plus and for building automation with KNX standards, Eikon Exé represents the perfect fusion between technology and organic design.
Roxie: latest generation video door entry panel
The Roxie door station, with Due Fili Plus technology, was designed to meet the access control needs of small accommodation facilities. With an access system based on RFID tags and the new View Key app, Roxie allows intelligent and secure access management directly from your smartphone. Managers can coordinate guest access online via the View cloud portal, making this product ideal for hotels and facilities without a reception.
Innovation and sustainability for living
Both products, thanks to the selection of the ADI Design Index, could enter the historic collection of Italian industrial design, enhancing Vimar’s continuous evolution in the design sector. Vimar thus confirms its commitment to offering innovative and sustainable solutions for living.
