Mohebban is a brand specialising in the production of designer rugs, handcrafted rugs and contemporary rugs. Born from the meeting of an ancient tradition and an international vision, the company has carried forward a rug culture rooted in Iran for three generations. Today, this heritage extends between Milan, home to the brand for over half a century, and major manufacturing areas such as India, Turkey and Pakistan.

For Mohebban, a rug is not simply a furnishing accessory. Instead, it is an element that shapes space through material, technique and design. Each collection is created through a balance of textile tradition, craftsmanship, premium materials and contemporary research. Moreover, great attention is given to quality, pile composition and the expressive strength of patterns and surfaces.

Production enhances artisanal know-how at every stage. First comes the selection of wool, silk and vegetable fibres; then the process continues through spinning, dyeing, loom weaving and final finishing. As a result, Mohebban interprets the world of modern rugs and high-end rugs with collections designed to furnish the living room, lounge and bedroom with personality.

The most representative Mohebban collections express a vision of the designer rug shaped by craftsmanship, refined materials and a distinctive aesthetic identity. Some draw on art, while others look to nature or sensory perception. Overall, each line interprets the modern rug with its own character.

• Untitled – Eric Blum: a collection of hand-knotted rugs that translates four of the artist’s paintings into textile surfaces with a strong contemporary character. In Untitled N°972, suspended forms and visual overlaps create an abstract composition that feels both intense and balanced. As a result, the rug brings character and depth to a space with natural elegance. Made in India from wool, bamboo silk and linen, it has a thickness of approximately 1 cm.

• Oceano – Studio Zero: this collection stems from a reflection on the primordial energy of the sea and the continuous movement of waves. Consequently, its patterns evoke whirlpools, currents and flowing water with strong visual impact. Within the collection, Oceano blue expresses the project’s deepest and most immersive side with particular intensity. The rugs are hand-tufted in India and made of wool.

• Atlas – Studio Zero: a collection inspired by an abstract Pangaea made of fragments and surfaces that seem to move closer together and drift apart like floating lands. Here, Atlas sand expresses the spirit of the collection through a balance of tactile delicacy and visual presence. The rugs are hand-knotted in India and made of wool and tencel.

• Tactile – Ilaria Franza: a capsule collection born from the meeting of visual perception and tactile experience. Here, the pictorial language is transformed into a surface to be observed and experienced through material. In this context, Tactile caramel e gold captures the collection’s chromatic sensitivity with clarity. The line is hand-knotted in India and combines wool, bamboo silk, viscose, tencel and linen.
