Six robot vacuum brands, comparing carpet and hair management, low furniture, automatic docks and maintenance, with European models and Italian price examples.
The right robot vacuum cleans your particular home regularly: fitting beneath furniture, managing rugs, collecting hair and returning to a dock that has a practical place to stand. A stated suction figure tells only part of that story.
This selection of robot vacuum brands covers Roborock, Dreame, ECOVACS, eufy, Narwal and iRobot, using documented examples from their official ranges. The focus is vacuuming, navigating the home and maintenance, with European and Italian configurations identified where relevant. It is not a ranking based on magazine testing.

Which robot vacuum brand should you consider?
Start with floors, rugs, pets and clearances. In a home with extensive carpeting, being able to separate vacuuming from mopping matters. For long hair and pets, investigate brush access and bin cleaning. An automatic dock transfers the dirt to a bag or container; it does not remove the need for maintenance.
| Brand and model | Feature to understand | Check at home |
|---|---|---|
| Roborock · Saros 10R | Low profile and automatic mop removal | Furniture clearance and carpet settings |
| Dreame · X60 Pro Ultra Complete | Dual detangling brushes | Dock size and exact version |
| ECOVACS · X11 OmniCyclone | Bagless dust collection in the dock | Container emptying and cleaning |
| eufy · E25 | DuoSpiral brushes and roller mop | Vacuum and mop maintenance |
| Narwal · Freo Z10 Ultra | DualFlow brush system | Hair, rugs and replacement parts |
| iRobot · Roomba Max 705 Vac | Vacuuming with dual rubber brushes | Difference from the Combo model |
Roborock: Saros 10R beneath low furniture
Saros 10R has a stated height of 7.98 cm, useful when measuring clearance beneath beds and sofas. Automatic mop removal allows pads to remain at the dock before vacuum-only and carpet-cleaning tasks; the function must be enabled in the app.
It is an option for mixed hard floors and rugs with low furniture. Measure the actual minimum opening, including rails and edges: the robot’s height does not establish that every space beneath a sofa is accessible.
Dreame: X60 Pro Ultra Complete and brush management

X60 Pro Ultra Complete is a Dreame example with HyperStream DuoBrush 2.0 detangling brushes and carpet-specific settings. It combines vacuuming, mopping and a multifunction dock.
With pets and long hair, brush access and replacement parts become important. Complete, Matrix and Master identify different variants; dock, accessories and water arrangements need to be explicit for offers to be comparable.
ECOVACS: X11 OmniCyclone and a bagless dock

DEEBOT X11 OmniCyclone combines vacuuming and mopping with a dock that collects dust without a conventional disposable bag, using cyclonic separation. That is a concrete difference when comparing dock consumables.
Bagless does not mean maintenance-free. Empty and clean the container as instructed, and consider how you will handle the collected dirt. Advertised intervals between maintenance depend on the household rather than providing a universal schedule.
eufy: E25, hair collection and a roller mop

eufy E25 uses DuoSpiral brushes designed to reduce tangling and a HydroJet roller-mopping system. Its station combines tasks including emptying, roller washing and water handling.
Vacuuming and mopping deserve separate assessment even in one machine. Access to brushes, air path, filters and roller components shows how straightforward daily maintenance will be.
Narwal: Freo Z10 Ultra and DualFlow brushes

Narwal Freo Z10 Ultra uses a DualFlow arrangement with side brushes and a roller designed to reduce hair build-up. The model vacuums and mops and can lift its pads over carpets.
For deep-pile rugs or fringes, examine the available app strategy and manual guidance rather than the lifting measurement alone. Anti-tangle designs can reduce brush maintenance, but checking them remains part of ownership.
iRobot: Roomba Max 705 Vac for dedicated vacuuming

Roomba Max 705 Vac is a vacuum-only robot with dual rubber brushes and an auto-empty dock. It is distinct from the Max 705 Combo, which also mops: the model number alone does not identify the functions.
This reference suits households concentrating on dust and carpets while mopping separately. Local configuration, new or refurbished condition, app, parts and support need to be identifiable in the offer.
How much does a robot vacuum cost?
Dreame’s Italian shop displayed the black X60 Pro Ultra Complete at €1,499 including VAT. The indicative reference needs reconfirming and covers that dock and Complete package, rather than the whole brand’s price range.
On the same date, Narwal’s Italian shop displayed Freo Z10 Ultra at €498.99 including VAT as a promotional offer. Bundles with accessory packages had different prices. These are dated Italian examples, not worldwide price benchmarks; recheck the offer, configuration and stock before ordering.
Include ongoing costs for bags, filters, brushes, rollers or pads and a replacement battery. A bagless dock changes some consumables but does not eliminate all maintenance costs.
Carpets, hair and dust: useful comparisons
Pascal ratings are not a cleaning league table
A Pa figure describes a stated suction measurement, not the complete amount of dirt a robot will remove from your carpet. Brushes, floor contact, passes, filters and test conditions also matter. Comparing numbers between manufacturers without a common method can be misleading.
Clearances, thresholds and accessible rooms
Furniture clearance and thresholds describe the real route. Obstacle climbing depends on shape and configuration as well as height. Across storeys, maps, carrying and dock arrangements matter; stairs remain outside the robot’s task.
Pets and obstacle recognition
Recognition features can help navigation but do not guarantee avoidance of every object. Cables, small items and pet accidents require attention before starting. A robot helps maintain floors between deeper cleans; it does not vacuum sofas, upholstery or places it cannot reach.
The dock needs room and servicing access
Dimensions, power, manoeuvring and tank access determine dock placement. Fitted cabinetry must respect clearances and permit component removal. App routines and zones should be understandable, with account and Internet requirements clearly identified.
For mopping, the floor manufacturer’s water and detergent guidance remains the reference. Delicate surfaces follow their own care requirements, beyond general robot-cleaning claims.
Where to buy and what to check in the package
Official stores, electronics retailers and specialist dealers allow comparison of exact codes and local support. On a marketplace, identify the actual seller and whether the product is intended for your country.
- Complete model: suffix, colour, dock and functions.
- Your home: rugs, fringes, thresholds, furniture clearance and dock space.
- Contents: initial accessories and later consumables.
- Support: battery, spares, maintenance and fault handling.
- Purchase terms: new or refurbished, stock and delivery.
Among these six brands, a model that fits the home and its routines is a stronger choice than the largest specification number. A robot that is straightforward to maintain is more likely to be used consistently.
