For Dorelan, sleep is a matter of design. Since 1968 the Forlì-based company has been designing and manufacturing Sleep Systems (mattresses, toppers, pillows, box springs, headboards and accessories) and has long brought this expertise to Hospitality: hotels, international chains, resorts and cruise lines, where every bed must offer guests a distinctive Sleep Experience and withstand intensive use, night after night.

From defining requirements to delivery, Dorelan supports each property as a single point of contact: sizes, comfort levels, upholstery and headboards are customised to create a bed that reflects the hotel’s identity and the experience it wants to offer its guests.

Made in Italy, from spring to comfort

Everything is conceived and made in Italy, across the 50,000 m² of the Forlì facility. Very different skills coexist here: advanced spring systems, high-tech Myform formulations patented by Dorelan, tailoring and assembly. Controlling every step, from raw materials to shipping, means consistent quality and, when needed, solutions tailored to the individual project.

Behind every product is the in-house Research and Development department, which works with suppliers and clients from the very choice of materials. The result is a mattress conceived as the sum of two parts: the internal structure, entrusted to the NextCoil, SoftTouch, DualCore and Core spring systems, and the padded layers that define its feel. The Double Sided, Easy Flip and Easy Flip Plus configurations and the Pillow Topper with TopFit attachment make it possible to adjust comfort and simplify room management, while fabrics and fillings fine-tune breathability, thermoregulation and durability to each property’s standards.

Certified quality and sustainability

For hoteliers, reliability is also a matter of paperwork. Dorelan works with a quality system certified by third parties and renewed every year: ISO 9001 (Bureau Veritas), ISO 14001 for environmental management, ISO 45001 for occupational health and safety, plus checks on product safety and hygiene. Clear documentation and verifiable requirements that fit technical specifications and procurement processes.

Sustainability is part of the same approach: in 2025 the facility’s photovoltaic system covered 40.5% of its energy needs, alongside projects for energy efficiency, lower consumption and material recovery in a circular economy perspective.
