Composit is an Italian company specialising in the design and production of designer kitchens, wardrobes and coordinated furnishing systems for the contemporary home. Its story began in 1960 with the experience of the Belligotti brothers in the furniture sector and was consolidated in 1974 with the foundation of the Composit brand, entirely dedicated to kitchen production.
The company’s production heart is still located today in the Pesaro district, where the entire production cycle of kitchens and wardrobes is carried out over an area of approximately 12,000 square metres. This connection with the territory is a fundamental part of Composit’s identity, built on manufacturing expertise, design culture, production flexibility and deep knowledge of materials.
Entirely made in Italy, Composit products interpret the value of Made in Italy as a synthesis of design, construction quality, innovation and attention to detail. Moreover, collaborations with internationally renowned designers, including Piergiorgio Cazzaniga, Enrico Cesana, Leone+Mazzari, Roberto Lazzeroni and Bizzarri Design, have helped define a recognisable and coherent aesthetic language.
One of Composit’s most distinctive strengths is its ability to develop highly customised solutions. Positioned between the tradition of cabinetmaking and the efficiency of industrial production, the company creates bespoke kitchens and furnishing systems tailored to private homes, multi-residential projects and contract settings. Dimensions, finishes, woods, lacquers and materials can be configured with great design freedom, even beyond the standard catalogue proposals.
Over time, Composit has expanded its vision beyond the kitchen, developing an integrated approach to the whole home. Through the One Brand, Complete Home philosophy, the brand offers kitchens, wardrobes, day systems, bathroom solutions and boiserie designed to dialogue with one another through aesthetic, material and functional continuity. As a result, every room can be conceived as part of a coordinated system, created to respond to different lifestyles and architectural needs.
At the same time, quality and sustainability guide every phase of the company’s work. Composit uses clean energy produced by photovoltaic panels, promotes the reduction of plastic in packaging, works with FSC-certified materials and uses CARB-2 compliant panels with low formaldehyde emissions. In addition, production waste is recovered and reused to heat the company facilities, confirming a responsible vision focused on reducing environmental impact.
Collections and iconic products
Composit collections express two main souls of contemporary kitchen design: Modern, focused on innovative, functional systems with an essential language, and Timeless, designed for those who interpret luxury as a lifestyle through refined materials, sophisticated details and timeless atmospheres.
- Code: a kitchen designed by Enrico Cesana, created to establish continuity between the kitchen and living area. Boiserie, storage units and coordinated finishes make it possible to develop a total look project for the entire home.
- Touch: a kitchen designed by Piergiorgio Cazzaniga, defined by a minimal design and an invisible integrated handle. A true “cooking machine”, suitable for contemporary interiors and elegant settings.
- Linea: a kitchen with an essential design, no handles and a groove opening system. Its clean surfaces are enhanced by vertical and horizontal cuts and by the wide range of Composit finishes.
- Lounge: a kitchen designed by Enrico Cesana, recognisable for its vertical handle, a strong graphic sign within the project. It is conceived to connect the kitchen and living area, creating continuous and urban interiors.
- Pepper: a proposal by Bizzarri Design Associati, born from a contemporary interpretation of the industrial kitchen. The 22 mm wooden door with a three-dimensional effect becomes the distinctive feature of the project.
- Blend: a Timeless kitchen designed by Bizzarri Design Associati, characterised by formal clarity, absence of handles and a thin aluminium frame that creates a graphic and modular effect on the fronts.
- Céline: a kitchen designed by Delta Studio, reinterpreting the framed door in a contemporary way. Also available in the Céline Art version, it combines classical memory, compositional rigour and strong customisation.
- Noisette: a kitchen designed by Roberto Lazzeroni, refined in both details and finishes. Its light design and practical forms interpret a new idea of domestic luxury.
- Melograno: a kitchen designed by Leone+Mazzari, made in natural or stained wood. It combines the softness of Italian tradition with the contemporary character of an innovative handleless door.
- Marilyn: a kitchen designed by Delta Studio, with a lacquered framed door and an international taste. Refined finishes and elegant details make it a chic, cosmopolitan and sophisticated proposal.
Alongside kitchens, the Wardrobes Collection expands the Composit proposal with bespoke wardrobes and walk-in closets, designed to integrate with the sleeping area and with the other rooms of the home. Finishes coordinated with the kitchen collections, construction quality, Blum hardware, full-extension drawers and premium structures make it possible to create customised, functional and long-lasting solutions.
Composit therefore stands out for its ability to combine design, customisation, industrial quality and artisanal sensitivity. Today, the brand exports more than 75% of its production and operates internationally through flagship stores and authorised dealers. From private residences to contract and multi-residential projects, Composit brings to the world a complete vision of Made in Italy living, made of kitchens, wardrobes and coordinated furnishing systems that are elegant, functional and designed to last over time.
